Exploring Natural Bridge's Landscape

Natural Bridge is located in the far southwest of the City of Gold Coast. It's part of the beautiful South East Queensland region. The area gets its name from a special rock arch found in Springbrook National Park.

The Famous Rock Arch and Waterfall

Imagine a natural bridge made of rock! This is what you'll find here. A waterfall from Cave Creek flows right through this amazing arch. Cave Creek is a small stream that eventually joins the Nerang River. Natural Bridge sits at the end of the Nerang River valley. It's nestled between the Springbrook plateau and Binna Burra.

National Parks and Rugged Beauty

A large part of Natural Bridge, especially the western side, is protected within Lamington National Park. This area is very rugged and wild. You'll discover many waterfalls, stunning lookouts, and tall peaks. Some of these peaks rise over 1,100 metres (about 3,600 feet) high! The main road, Nerang Murwillumbah Road, runs through this valley.
