Nickelodeon is a popular TV channel in France. It shows lots of fun cartoons and live-action series for kids and teens. This channel is the French version of the famous Nickelodeon network from the United States.

Nickelodeon France also broadcasts to other countries where people speak French. These include places like Switzerland, Belgium, and several countries in Francophone Africa.

You might notice that in French-speaking areas, the channel is always called "Nickelodeon." They don't use the shorter name "Nick" like in some other places. This is because "Nick" sounds very similar to a rude word in French.

Sister Channels

Nickelodeon France has a few sister channels. These channels are also part of the same family and offer different types of shows.

Nickelodeon Junior

On August 26, 2017, the channel changed its name to Nickelodeon Teen.
