On television, he played Xaro Xhoan Daxos in the HBO series Game of Thrones. He was also R.M. Renfield in the Sky series Dracula. Kids might know him as Abraham Kenyatta from the CBS series Zoo. Nonso Anozie was born on 17 November 1978 in North London, England. His parents are from Nigeria and belong to the Igbo people.
He went to St Aloysius College, Highgate for his schooling. Later, he studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He finished his studies there in 2002. That same year, he played the main role in William Shakespeare's play King Lear. In 2004, he won the Ian Charleson Award for his performance in another play, Othello.

Voice Acting and Early Roles
In 2006, Nonso Anozie was chosen to be the voice of Iorek Byrnison. This was a large armored bear character in the movie The Golden Compass. This film was based on Philip Pullman's book Northern Lights. However, two months before the movie came out, Ian McKellen took over the voice role. The film's director, Chris Weitz, explained that it was a studio decision. He also said that Nonso Anozie was a very promising and soulful young actor.
Nonso Anozie also had smaller roles in films like RocknRolla as Think Tank. He played Frank Mace in the movie Atonement.
