Regal Academy is a fun animated TV show from Italy. It was created by Iginio Straffi and Joanne Lee. The show is made by the Rainbow studio. This studio is partly owned by Iginio Straffi and a company called Viacom.
You can watch Regal Academy all over the world on Viacom's Nickelodeon channels. In Italy, it airs on Rai YoYo. The first episode aired in Italy on May 22, 2016. It came to Nickelodeon in the U.S. on August 13, 2016. The series takes famous fairy tale characters and gives them a funny, new twist. It started as a different idea in 2009 called Twisted Fairy Tales. After some changes, it became Royal Academy in 2013, and then Regal Academy.

Discovering Fairy Tale Land
The story follows a regular teenage girl from Earth named Rose. One day, she finds a special key. This key leads her to FairyTale Land, a magical place where all the fairy tales are real! Rose ends up at a fancy school called Regal Academy.
She soon learns a big secret: she is the granddaughter of Cinderella, who is the headmistress of the school! Rose decides to join Regal Academy. There, she learns how to use magic and goes on exciting adventures with her new friends.
Meet the Students
At Regal Academy, Rose meets many other students who are also descendants of famous fairy tale characters.
Main Students
- Rose Cinderella (voiced by Jessica Paquet in English) is the main character. She's from Earth and finds out she's Cinderella's granddaughter. Rose loves fairy tales and shoes. She can use Pumpkin Magic with her wand. She also has special Cinderella glass slippers.
- Travis Beast (voiced by Henry Benjamin in English) is the grandson of the Beast. He's an artist and can get sarcastic. When he gets really angry, he turns into a powerful beast! Travis uses Fury Magic with his wand.
- Astoria Rapunzel (voiced by Erica Schroeder in English) is Rapunzel's granddaughter. She has very long, wavy purple hair. Astoria is a perfectionist and loves to study. Her hair can even act like extra hands! She uses Tower Magic to grow strong ivy and flowers.
- Hawk SnowWhite (voiced by Billy Bob Thompson in English) is Snow White's grandson. He's very charming and popular. Hawk loves apples, just like his grandmother. He sometimes tries to be too heroic, which can cause problems. Hawk uses Snow Magic to freeze things and create snow and ice.
- Joy LeFrog (voiced by Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld in English) is the granddaughter of The Frog Prince. Her grandfather is also a professor at the school. Joy can change between human and frog forms. She loves insects as food! Joy uses Frog Magic, which can turn anyone into a frog.
Other Students
- Vicky Broomstick is a student who wants to be the best fairy tale villain. Rose and her friends often stop her plans.
- Cyrus Broomstick is Vicky's lazy cousin. He often helps Vicky with her schemes, even though he'd rather nap.
- Ruby Stepsister is friends with Vicky and helps her. She likes Hawk. Ruby can tidy things up with her power.
- Esquire Frog is Joy's friend from Frog Academy. He was cursed to be a frog and prefers it that way.
- Gerald Ugly Duckling is the grandson of the Ugly Duckling. He's shy and hopes to become like his grandfather.
- Finn Whale is the grandson of Sinbad's whale. He is slow and clumsy.
- Leena Tom Thumb is small but brave, like her grandpa Tom Thumb.
- Odette Swan is Grandma Swan's granddaughter. She loves to dance.
- Pinocchia is the granddaughter of Pinocchio. She always tells the truth and dislikes liars.
- Violet Ogre is the Ogre's granddaughter. She has some of her grandfather's traits.
- LingLing Iron Fan is a new student from China. She's a great warrior but new to high school activities. She develops feelings for Travis.
- Kira Snow Queen is the daughter of the Snow Queen. She joins in Season 2 to spy on the students. She uses crystal magic.
- Shawn Beast is Travis's cousin, introduced in Season 2. He is Astoria's childhood friend.

- Headmistress Cinderella (voiced by Kathryn Cahill in English) is Rose's grandmother. She is strong and loves shoes and organizing balls.
- Coach Beast (voiced by HD Quinn in English) is the gym teacher, Travis's grandfather. He seems tough but has a kind heart. He teaches dragon riding.
- Professor SnowWhite (voiced by Lori Gardner in English) is a strict teacher, Hawk's grandmother. She loves apples and teaches manners and magic.
- Doctor LeFrog (voiced by Marc Thompson in English) is the potions professor, Joy's grandfather. He can be funny and absent-minded.
- Magister Rapunzel (voiced by Kayzie Rogers in English) is the poetry teacher, Astoria's grandmother. She loves books and can get lost in conversation.
- Professor Wolfram is a well-dressed wolf who teaches chivalry and heroism.
- Professor Beauty is the art professor. She is kind and always sees the good in things.
- Professor IronFan is LingLing's grandmother.

The Snow Queen wants to trap everyone in her snow globes!
