The Resch Center is a large building in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, United States. It opened in 2002 and can hold up to 10,200 people. It's a "multi-purpose arena," which means it's used for many different kinds of events.
The Resch Center is home to several sports teams. These include the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay's men's basketball team, the Green Bay Gamblers ice hockey team, and the Green Bay Blizzard indoor football team. It also hosts big high school sports tournaments every year, like girl's volleyball and girl's basketball championships.
The arena is named after Dick Resch. He was an executive at KI Industries, a local office furniture company. His company bought the "naming rights," which means they paid to have the building named after him.
The Resch Center was built right next to the old Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena. It's also across the street from the famous Lambeau Field. Before the Resch Center was built, this spot was home to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. Even though the arena is in Ashwaubenon, its mailing address is in Green Bay.
