The "Layla" Song Story
Rita Coolidge also helped create a part of the famous 1971 song "Layla." This song was by Eric Clapton's band, Derek and the Dominos. Rita said she recorded a demo with the band's drummer, Jim Gordon. She shared this music with Eric Clapton.
