St. Antoni (also known as Saint-Antoine in French) was once a municipality in the Sense district of the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It was special because most of its residents spoke German, even though the Fribourg canton is mostly French-speaking. On January 1, 2021, St. Antoni joined with the nearby municipality of Alterswil to become part of Tafers.

St. Antoni is quite old! It was first mentioned in official records way back in 1690. Back then, it was known as S Antonii.

St. Antoni covered an area of about 16.86 square kilometers (around 6.5 square miles). A large part of this land, about 72.7%, was used for farming. Forests covered about 19.1% of the area. The rest of the land was used for buildings and roads (7.5%), or was covered by rivers and lakes (1.1%).

The former municipality of St. Antoni included the main village itself, plus many smaller communities called hamlets. These hamlets included Bächlisbrunnen, Burg, Burgbühl, Guglenberg, Henzenried, Lampertshalden, Lehwil, Mellisried, Ober- and Niedermonten, Niedermuhren, Schwenny, Tutzishaus, Weissenbach, and Winterlingen.
