"That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana" is a special TV event. It brings together characters from three popular Disney Channel shows. These shows are That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Hannah Montana. This exciting crossover aired in the United States on July 28, 2006. What Happens in the Story?
The crossover tells a fun story across three different episodes.
Raven's Adventure: "Checkin' Out"
This part of the story starts on That's So Raven. Raven Baxter is helping her boss, Donna Cabonna. Donna needs Raven to set up a big photo shoot for a new fashion line. The photo shoot is happening at the Tipton Hotel in Boston.
Raven is given a special device called a Secretech to help her. But Raven doesn't know how to use it. She accidentally sends the photographer to a hotel in Milan, Italy. The fashion models also don't get their plane tickets. They are stuck in a made-up country called Budapragoslovakia.
Raven has a vision and sees Zack and Cody. She gets the twins to help her by catching a celebrity, Tyler. Raven decides to use Zack and Cody as the new models. She also pretends to be the photographer. Donna Cabonna finds out and tries to pretend to be the photographer too.
The real photographer arrives, having taken a very expensive private jet. She likes Zack and Cody as models even more. Raven thinks everything is fine, but she misses her flight home. Her Secretech had the wrong time for Boston.
Meanwhile, Raven's friends Cory and Eddie try to make Chelsea break a paddleball record. They want to win prize money. Their opponent is Stanley, who is very good. Chelsea tricks Stanley and wins the money. But she feels bad and gives the money to Stanley. Cory and Eddie are upset, but Chelsea says they got what they deserved. She then breaks the record again, playing paddleball behind her back!
Zack and Cody's Hotel Chaos: "That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana"
This part takes place on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Raven is stuck at the Tipton Hotel in Boston because her flight was canceled. She has a vision that Cody is in danger. Raven tells Cody that someone in a sweater vest will be in trouble. Cody, who wears sweater vests, becomes very worried.
Cody tries to avoid anything that matches Raven's vision. This includes a surprise birthday party for his mom, Carey. Zack switches clothes with Cody to make him go to the party. Zack wears Cody's sweater vest. But it's Zack who ends up in the birthday cake! This happens when Arwin's new babysitting machine goes out of control.
At the same time, Maddie tries to help Raven. She wants London to wear one of Raven's original dress designs. London only wears clothes from famous designers. Maddie secretly switches the label on London's dress. London wears Raven's dress, thinking it's from a famous designer.
Maddie tells London the truth, and London gets upset. But then, teen pop star Hannah Montana checks into the hotel. Hannah loves Raven's dress and asks for one like it. Raven tells Hannah that the dress is a special "one-of-a-kind Raven Baxter original" made just for London. Later, Hannah and London argue over the dress. Hannah's ring gets caught in the dress, and it tears. Raven is very upset about this.
Hannah's Family Fun: "On the Road Again"
This final part is from Hannah Montana. Hannah Montana is staying at the Tipton Hotel. She becomes friends with Maddie, who works at the candy counter. Maddie hears Miley's dad sing. She realizes he sounds just like Robbie Ray, a famous country singer.
Miley starts to think her dad gave up his singing career for her. She wants to help him get back on stage. She gets his old manager to help Robby go on tour again. Robby goes to San Diego for a performance. Hannah's bodyguard, Roxy, stays to watch Miley and her brother, Jackson.
Roxy is very protective. She won't let Miley and Jackson out of her sight. She even ties them up when they sleep! Jackson gets tired of this and goes to San Diego. Miley and Roxy follow him. Robby performs his song "I Want My Mullet Back."
Jackson changes his mind about his dad's career after seeing him perform. Robby is offered a tour in Hawaii with Toby Keith. But Robby decides not to go. He doesn't want to leave his kids again. Maddie also shows up but is chased away by Roxy. The episode ends with Robby and Miley singing "I Want My Mullet Back" together. They even wear funny mullet wigs! Jackson joins in, making trumpet sounds with his armpit.
DVD Release Information
The special crossover episode was released on DVD. It was called the "Mixed-Up Mashed-Up Edition." The DVD came out on January 16, 2007.
The DVD included extra features for each show.
- For That's So Raven, there was a trivia game.
- For The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, there was a new episode. This episode, "Health and Fitness," aired on TV later in March 2007.
- For Hannah Montana, there was the music video for "Who Said."
In New Zealand, the crossover first aired on January 27, 2007. However, the DVD was released much later, in June 2008.
