About the Show
In each episode, Michelle Trachtenberg acted as the host and narrator. She told stories about well-known hauntings and strange happenings. Her setting was a spooky library filled with props related to the episode's theme.
Michelle would introduce the topic with a short phrase. Then, clips from the episode would play, followed by her saying, "Next on Truth or Scare..." The show continued with Michelle narrating the stories. Actors would perform reenactments to help tell the tales. She also gave background information about each story.
During commercial breaks, Michelle would give a quick preview of the next story. The episodes were like documentaries made for a younger audience. Many parts came from other shows, like the "Castle Ghosts of The British Isles" series.
