Ultimate Jet is an airline that offers private jet flights. It used to be called Ultimate Jet Charters. This airline is based in North Canton, Ohio, in the United States.

Ultimate Jet operates special flights for people who charter (rent) a whole plane. They use planes like the Citation X and Embraer ERJ135. In the past, Ultimate Jet also had regular flights on a schedule. These flights helped people travel for business from Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport. The airline stopped its scheduled flights from late 2020 to mid-2021. They stopped again from December 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Business travel was greatly reduced during this time.

Ultimate Air Shuttle began flying in 2009. This was shortly after two big airlines, Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines, joined together. Ultimate Air Shuttle wanted to offer quick flights to popular places.

The airline started with flights to New York. By 2010, they added flights to Chicago. In 2012, they added Detroit and Washington, D.C. However, the Detroit route was stopped later that year. The Washington, D.C. route changed to Charlotte in 2013.

On May 12, 2015, Ultimate Air Shuttle announced new seasonal flights. These flights went to popular vacation spots like Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. They also flew to Westhampton Beach, New York, and from Morristown, New Jersey. The Westhampton Beach flights were later canceled because not enough people wanted to fly there.

The airline also thought about flying to other cities. These included Indianapolis, Memphis, and Nashville. But these flights never started. In October 2015, Ultimate Jet began flying to Cleveland. They also said they would add flights to Chicago Executive Airport in 2016. Flights to Atlanta and Nashville were also planned for the next year.

In May 2016, Ultimate Air Shuttle decided to move its flights from CVG to LUK. This allowed them to add more daily flights to Chicago and New York. In January 2017, they announced plans to launch flights from Lunken to Atlanta.

Ultimate Jetcharters, the main company, used to operate flights for another company called OneJet. OneJet stopped flying in August 2018. Ultimate Jetcharters also flew for Taos Air for a winter season.

In mid-2020, Ultimate Air Shuttle stopped its regular flights. This was due to travel rules because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They briefly started flying again in the summer. But they stopped once more from September until early 2021. This was because business travel had not fully recovered. Flights started again in the second half of 2021. However, the airline announced another stop from December 16, 2021, into 2022. The pandemic continued to affect business travel.

In October 2023, Ultimate Air Shuttle filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This means the company asked for legal help to reorganize its money. The airline plans to keep flying and operating during this process.
