Angélica Vale is a famous Mexican and American actress, singer, and comedian. She was born Angélica María Vale Hartman on November 11, 1975. Her mother is the well-known actress and singer Angélica María, often called "La Novia de Mexico" (Mexico's Sweetheart). Her father was the comedian Raúl Vale.
Angélica Vale has been acting for many years. She became very famous in 2006 when she played the main character in La Fea Más Bella (The Prettiest Ugly Girl). This was a popular Mexican TV show called a telenovela, and her real-life mother also acted in it. She also starred in a web series called No me hallo, playing a young woman who dreamed of becoming a singer. In 2012, Angélica was a team leader on the Mexican TV show Parodiando. In 2016, she became a citizen of the United States, but she is still a Mexican citizen too.

Angélica Vale's Acting Career
Angélica Vale was born in Mexico City, Mexico. When she was a child, she acted in the 1981 movie El Gran Triunfo. In this film, she played the daughter of the Mexican star Rigo Tovar.
For a few years, from 1982 to 1986, Angélica and her family could not work for Televisa, a big TV network. This happened because they worked on a show called "Lupita" for a different network. In 1986, another important person in TV, Ernesto Alonso, helped them. He got the ban lifted, and the family could return to working on Televisa shows.
In 1998, Angélica played Julieta in Soñadoras. In 2001, she played Wendy Nayeli Pérez in Amigas y rivales. Both of these were big roles and people praised her acting. However, her first main role in a Mexican telenovela was in La Fea Más Bella.
Angélica Vale is also known for being a great impersonator (someone who copies other people's voices and actions). She was one of the main impersonators on the comedy show La Parodia from 2000 to 2005. She later left the show to take a break. From 2005 to 2006, she performed in El Privilegio de Mandar. This show was a funny copy of an older telenovela.
Telenovelas are very popular in Spanish-speaking countries. La Fea Más Bella became a top TV show in 2006. This made many producers see Angélica Vale as a very successful actress. Many people felt she was finally getting the international attention she deserved.
In 2007, Angélica Vale was one of eight people on the cover of People en Español magazine's "Los 50 Más Bellos" (50 Most Beautiful) issue. She was also on the cover alone in July 2007. Radio Career
On October 15, 2019, Angélica Vale started hosting a radio show in Los Angeles. She worked for the Latin pop and reggaetón station "Cali 93.9" KLLI. On January 28, 2020, she moved to the morning show and got a co-host, Jose Quintero.
Singing Career
Like her mother, Angélica Vale is also a singer. She sang on the soundtrack for La Fea Más Bella. She was very good at impersonating other singers, like Verónica Castro, on La Parodia. She also sang the theme song for that show. She has also impersonated singers like Shakira, Thalía, and Laura León in her shows.
In 2007, after La Fea Más Bella finished, she sang one of the show's theme songs on El Show de Cristina. In 2008, she made a music album called Navidad con Amigos with Ricardo Montaner.

Angélica Vale's father was from Venezuela. Her mother is Mexican American and was born in Louisiana. Angélica also has a Jewish grandfather. She speaks English and Spanish very well, and she can also speak some French.
Angélica and her mother, Angélica María, are both honored in the Paseo de las Luminarias at the Plaza de las Estrellas. This is a special place for famous entertainers. Angélica was recognized for her work in television and music. Also, both she and her mother have a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Angélica and her parents are featured in the 2007 book Televisa Presenta. This book was published when the Televisa network celebrated its 50th anniversary.
