Corcelles-près-Concise is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It's located in the canton of Vaud, which is like a state, within the Jura-Nord Vaudois district. This charming place sits between the beautiful Lake Neuchatel and Mont Aubert. It is known for growing grapes and grains.

History of Corcelles-près-Concise

Corcelles-près-Concise was first mentioned in old records way back in the year 885. Back then, it was known as Corceles. A few years later, in 888, it was called Corcella.

This municipality used to be part of the Grandson District. But that district was closed down on August 31, 2006. After that, Corcelles-près-Concise became part of the newer Jura-Nord Vaudois district.

There have been talks about Corcelles-près-Concise possibly joining with nearby towns like Concise, Mutrux, and Onnens. They might form a new, bigger municipality in the future.
