History of Corsier

Corsier was first mentioned in old records in the year 1297. Back then, it was called Corsiacum.

For a while, between 1816 and 1858, Corsier and a nearby town called Anières were actually one single municipality.

Corsier covers an area of about 2.74 square kilometers (which is about 1.06 square miles).
