Daniele Gaither is a talented American actress and comedian. She is best known for being a regular cast member on the funny sketch comedy show MADtv.

Early Life and Comedy Beginnings

Daniele Gaither was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Growing up, she loved making people laugh. She was great at telling stories and imitating others. Like some of her co-stars from MADtv, she went to Northwestern University.

In 1993, Daniele moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. She joined The Groundlings School. This is a special place where people learn how to act in funny skits. They also learn how to make up scenes on the spot. While there, she was trained by Michael McDonald, who later also joined MADtv. Daniele became a full member of The Groundlings comedy group.

Daniele's comedy style is about showing real people. She often uses experiences from her own family. She also does amazing impressions of famous people. These include stars she admired growing up, like Patti LaBelle and Marla Gibbs. She also imitates current celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks.

Daniele's first regular TV show was Hype in 2000. After that, she appeared on NBC's The Rerun Show. She also had a recurring role as Chandra the hairdresser on Comedy Central's Reno 911!.

Becoming a Star on MADtv

Daniele Gaither first appeared on MADtv in its second season. This was before she officially joined the cast. She was in a skit that made fun of a debate between U.S. President Bill Clinton and U.S. Senator Bob Dole.

In 2003, Daniele officially joined the cast of MADtv. She was a featured performer for the ninth season. She became the second Black female cast member in the show's history. The next season, she became a main performer. On MADtv, Daniele was known for her unique impressions of celebrities. These included Condoleezza Rice, Eve, and Tyra Banks.
