List of iCarly episodes facts for kids
iCarly was a super popular American TV show (a sitcom) that first aired on Nickelodeon. It ran from September 8, 2007, until November 23, 2012. The show was all about Miranda Cosgrove playing Carly Shay, a regular kid who becomes a big Internet star! Many episodes, like "iDo" and "iSaved Your Life," were promoted as special events. The little "i" at the start of each episode title stands for the internet, just like in "iCarly."
The show was even nominated for an Emmy award in 2009 for being an amazing Children's Program. The series wrapped up on November 23, 2012, with a special one-hour episode called "iGoodbye." In total, there were six seasons and 109 episodes made. The most-watched episode was "iSaved Your Life," which aired in January 2010 and had 11.2 million viewers!
The story begins when Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and her funny best friend Sam (Jennette McCurdy) are acting silly at a school talent show audition. Their tech-smart friend Freddie (Nathan Kress) secretly records them and puts the video online. People loved their funny conversations and how well they worked together! Everyone wanted to see more, and that's how the iCarly webcast was born.
While dealing with normal teenage stuff, Carly, Sam, and Freddie also became online celebrities. Their show featured fun things like talent contests, easy recipes, solving problems, and even random dancing! It became super popular all around the world.
Carly lives in Seattle, Washington, with her older brother and guardian, Spencer (Jerry Trainor). They make the iCarly show in a cool studio on the third floor of their apartment. Carly's mom is never seen or talked about. Her dad, Steven Shay (David Chisum), is an officer in the United States Air Force and is often mentioned. He is briefly seen in person during the very last episode, "iGoodbye."
