The Muri District is a special area, called a district, in Switzerland. It's located in the Canton of Aargau, which is like a state or province. The main town and capital of this district is Muri.

This district covers the middle and southern parts of a region known as Freiamt. Many people live here. As of 31 December 2020, the Muri District has a population of 37,379.
