Soulce is a small village in the Jura canton of Switzerland. It used to be its own town, called a municipality. But on January 1, 2013, Soulce joined with four other towns. These towns were Bassecourt, Courfaivre, Glovelier, and Undervelier. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Haute-Sorne. Soulce is now part of this bigger community.

History of Soulce
Soulce was first written about in the year 1148. Back then, its name was Sulza. For a while, it was also known by its German name, Sulz. However, people do not use the name Sulz anymore. The village has a long past, going back many centuries.
Geography and Location
Soulce is found in the Delémont district. It sits in a small valley. This valley is located east of another village called Undervelier. The village of Soulce grew up along a small stream. This stream flows through the valley.

Soulce covers an area of about 14.68 square kilometers. A large part of this land is covered by forests. About 70% of the area is forest. Another 27% of the land is used for farming.
