This is Emily Yeung is a fun Canadian TV show made for kids. It first aired in 2006. The show was created by J.J. Johnson and Blair Powers. It was produced by two companies from Toronto: Marblemedia and Sinking Ship Productions.
This show is a follow-up to another popular series called This is Daniel Cook. You could watch This is Emily Yeung on Treehouse TV in Canada. It also aired on the Disney Channel in the United States.
The show follows a six-year-old girl named Emily Yeung. She explores new things and tries different challenges. Emily meets many interesting people, from snake handlers to basketball players and bakers. She learns from all of them.
The show was filmed in several places. These included Toronto, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia in Canada. They even filmed some parts at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
There were 65 short episodes, each about six minutes long. There were also two special episodes that lasted 30 minutes. The show became very popular around the world. It was sold to 88 countries. It was also translated into 14 different languages, like French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.
You could also find This is Emily Yeung on DVD. The first DVD, called This is Emily Yeung. Arts & Crafts, came out on May 13, 2008. Another DVD, This is Emily Yeung. Celebrating the holidays, was released on October 21, 2008.
