Anamika Khanna was born in Jodhpur on July 19, 1971. She is a famous fashion designer from India. Her design studio is in Kolkata. Anamika is known for mixing traditional Indian fabrics and styles with Western clothes. She was the first Indian designer to have her own international fashion brand, called "Ana mika." Her designs are sold in stores and online, both in India and other countries. Before becoming a designer, Anamika was a classical dancer and a painter.

Anamika's Fashion Journey
Anamika Khanna started her fashion career in 1998. In 2003, she was invited to Pakistan to show her bridal clothes. This was part of an event called Bridal Asia.
Starting an International Brand
In 2004, Anamika launched her international brand, "Ana mika." She showed her new collections at the Lakme Fashion Week's Grand Finale.
