Cleehill is a small village in the southern part of Shropshire, England. People sometimes call it Clee Hill Village to make sure it's not confused with other places. It's part of the Caynham area. The village is about 5.5 miles (8.9 km) from two market towns: Ludlow to the west and Cleobury Mortimer to the east.
Cleehill is located on the side of a big hill called Titterstone Clee Hill. It sits high up, between 1,120 feet (340 m) and 1,250 feet (380 m) above sea level. This makes it one of the highest villages in the whole county!

Getting Around Cleehill
The village is connected by important roads and a bus service.
Roads
- The A4117 road goes right through Cleehill.
- You'll notice a cattle grid on this main road. This is because the road crosses common land, where animals might roam freely.
- The A4117 reaches a height of 1,250 feet (380 m) as it passes Titterstone Clee Hill just east of the village.
- Because it's so high up, this road often gets covered in snow during winter.
- Another road, the B4214, starts in Cleehill and goes to Tenbury Wells.
Bus Service
- The 292 bus service stops in Cleehill.
- This bus connects Ludlow, Cleobury, Bewdley, and Kidderminster.

Cleehill's Weather
Cleehill has a climate similar to the rest of the U.K., but its high location makes it a bit different.
- Because it's so high, snow is more common in Cleehill during winter.
- Compared to nearby places like Shobdon, Cleehill usually has colder daytime temperatures all year.
- However, the nighttime temperatures are often warmer in Cleehill, except for March and April. This might be because the village gets less sunshine.
- Cleehill generally receives less sunshine than nearby areas in most months.
- It's also usually drier than surrounding areas, except from April to July, when it gets more rainfall.
- When it does rain in Cleehill, the rain tends to be heavier, even though there are fewer rainy days overall.
