List of The Fairly OddParents episodes facts for kids

The Fairly OddParents is a fun animated TV show made by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It's all about Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old boy. Timmy often feels ignored by his parents and picked on by his babysitter, Vicky.
But Timmy has a secret! He has two magical fairy godparents named Cosmo and Wanda. They can grant him any wish he wants to make his life better. The only problem is, these wishes usually go wrong! This often leads to funny and crazy situations that Timmy has to fix.
Before The Fairly OddParents, Butch Hartman worked on other cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory. The idea for The Fairly OddParents came from short cartoons called Oh Yeah! Cartoons. From 1998 to 2002, ten short Fairly OddParents cartoons aired. Each one was about seven and a half minutes long.
The show became very popular! It led to three special Jimmy Timmy Power Hour crossover movies. There were also three full-length live-action movies. Famous TV movies include "Abra-Catastrophe!" (2003) and "Channel Chasers" (2004). The newest live-action movie, A Fairly Odd Summer, came out in 2014.
The first eight seasons of the show were released on DVD in 2012 with help from Amazon. After a break, the show returned in 2013 with its ninth season. This season started on March 23, 2013, with a special called "Fairly OddPet".
On August 17, 2015, a tenth season was announced. This season introduced a new character named Chloe Carmichael. She became Timmy's new neighbor and also got Cosmo and Wanda as her fairy godparents. This happened because there was a shortage of fairies! Nickelodeon shared a picture of Chloe on Twitter on December 30, 2015. Season 10 started on January 15, 2016. In 2017, the show moved to Nicktoons for the rest of Season 10. The animation style also changed to Flash animation starting with the fourteenth episode.
The series finished on July 26, 2017. It had 172 episodes over ten seasons. A new show called The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder came out on Paramount+ on March 31, 2022. It mixes live-action and animation.

The fifth season of The Fairly OddParents brought lots of magical adventures! It started on July 2, 2004, and ended on November 25, 2006. This season was special because it included a big TV movie called Fairy Idol and two exciting crossover movies with Jimmy Neutron.
After an episode called "The Jerkinators," it seemed like both The Fairly OddParents and Jimmy Neutron might be ending. But don't worry, new episodes came out later in 2006! After this season finished, The Fairly OddParents took a break for about 15 months, from November 2006 to February 2008.
This fifth season was also the last one to be shared by a company called Nelvana International. This meant it was the last season to air on channels like Disney Channel and Jetix in some countries.
Episodes in Season 5
Season 5 of The Fairly OddParents had 21 episodes, including some really big ones! Here are some of the cool things that happened:
Special Movies and Crossovers
- Fairy Idol: This was a special TV movie where Norm the Genie made a clone of Timmy. This clone made Cosmo and Wanda so tired that they quit being Timmy's fairy godparents! A reality show called Fairy Idol was held to find new fairy godparents. Timmy had to make sure Norm didn't win and become an even trickier fairy godfather.
- The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 2: When Nerds Collide!: This was the second crossover adventure with Jimmy Neutron. Timmy and Jimmy argued over who would take Cindy to a dance. They also had to fight against Anti-Cosmo and Professor Calamitous!
- The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinators!: In their third crossover, Timmy and Jimmy created their own villain to fight because they were bored. But things went wrong when the villain trapped everyone in a new 2.5D world! Jimmy lost his smarts, and Cosmo and Wanda lost their magic.
Other Exciting Episodes

The tenth and final season of The Fairly OddParents brought 20 new adventures for Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda! This season introduced a new character, Chloe Carmichael, who had to share the fairies with Timmy. The season first aired on January 15, 2016, and wrapped up on July 26, 2017. You could watch it on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons.
Making the Season: Behind the Scenes
Nickelodeon officially announced this season on August 18, 2015. They originally planned for 13 episodes, but then decided to make even more fun, ordering a total of 20 episodes!
A cool change happened during this season. Starting with the episode "Space Ca-Dad", the show's animation style changed. It moved from the older, traditional way of animating to using Adobe Flash animation. This also meant that the animation work moved to a company in Canada called Elliot Animation.
