The tallest building in North Carolina is the Bank of America Corporate Center in Charlotte, which contains 60 floors and is 871 ft (265 m) tall. The second-tallest building in the state is the Duke Energy Center also in Charlotte, North Carolina, which rises 786 feet (240 m) above the ground.
