Michael Sheehan Bradley (born July 31, 1987) is a famous American soccer player. He plays as a midfielder, which means he plays in the middle of the field. He is also the captain for his club team, Toronto FC in MLS, and for the United States national team.
Michael Bradley has played for many different soccer teams around the world. He started his professional career in the United States before moving to Europe. He played for teams in the Netherlands, Germany, England, and Italy. Later, he returned to play in the MLS for Toronto FC.

Michael's Soccer Journey
Starting Out in the MLS
Michael Bradley began his professional soccer career with the MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls) in the MLS. He played there from 2004 to 2005.
Playing in Europe
After playing in the MLS, Michael moved to Europe to play for different teams.
- He played for Heerenveen in the Netherlands from 2006 to 2008.
- Then he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany, playing there from 2008 to 2011.
- In 2011, he had a short loan spell with Aston Villa in England.
- He then moved to Italy, playing for Chievo from 2011 to 2012.
- His last European club was Roma, where he played from 2012 to 2014.
Returning to Toronto FC
In 2014, Michael Bradley came back to the MLS and joined Toronto FC. He quickly became a key player and the captain for the team. He has helped Toronto FC win many important titles and reach major finals.
Playing for the United States National Team
Michael Bradley has also had a long and successful career playing for the United States national team. He has played in many important games and tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup. He is one of the most experienced players for the U.S. team.
