Mushfiqur Rahim (Bengali: মুশফিকুর রহিম; born 9 May 1987) is a famous Bangladeshi cricketer. He used to be the captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed batter who plays in the middle of the batting order. He is also a wicket-keeper for his national team.

Mushfiqur started playing international cricket in 2005 against England. He was only 18 years old then. In his first Test match, he played as a specialist batsman. He was the second youngest player, after Sachin Tendulkar, to play Test cricket at Lord's Cricket Stadium. He became known for scoring runs consistently and being a good wicket-keeper. In 2010, he scored a very fast century in a Test match against India. He is one of the best wicket-keepers, having scored over 11,000 runs and made more than 400 dismissals.

Many experts, like former Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons, say Mushfiqur Rahim can bat anywhere in the top order. He is known for being a very consistent player. He is also one of the few wicket-keepers to score over 1000 runs in all three types of cricket (Test, ODI, T20I). He holds the record for the highest score by a Bangladeshi in Test cricket. He is the first and only wicket-keeper batsman to score two double-hundreds in Test history. He is also the first and only Bangladeshi batsman to score three double-hundreds in Tests. Mushfiqur is the only Bangladeshi player to have won 150 international matches.
