The Saraiki dialect (Perso-Arabic: سرائیکی sometimes spelled Siraiki and Seraiki) is closely related to Punjabi. It is a dialect of Punjabi as agreed by majority of local and foreign linguists since late 90's. It is spoken by approximately 18 million Pakistanis, mostly in the southern part of Punjab Province and in adjacent parts of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwas. Saraiki belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of Indo-European.
