Xavier Moyano, born on December 2, 1981, is a talented musician from Argentina. He is a producer, performer, composer, and teacher. Xavier started his music journey in 1999 as a session guitarist in Tucuman. From 2003 to 2008, he played guitar for the rock/pop band "AVe Cesar."

After that, he became a solo rock instrumentalist. He also played with the metal band "Seliger" (Argentina/Brazil) from 2009 to 2011. Later, from 2014 to 2019, he was the guitarist and producer for "Cossas Novas," a band that played Bossa, Fusion, and Latin-Jazz music. Since 2018, he has been a guitarist and co-producer for "Rock Bro's," a classic rock band. Today, he continues to work as a solo guitarist, session musician, and producer.

Xavier has shared his music in over a hundred cities across ten different countries. He also teaches music workshops. These workshops cover topics like improvisation, mixing different music styles, and managing cultural projects. Amazing Performances and Collaborations

Xavier has performed with many famous musicians. He played with Pablo Soler from Buenos Aires several times. In 2009, he performed with Carina Alfie in the Northwest of Argentina, including Tucuman, Salta, and Santiago del Estero. He also joined the South American Guitar Masters tours in 2004, 2006, and 2007 with Marcos DeRos from Brazil.

In 2008, he was part of the S3 Ibero American Guitar Fest with Manuel Seoane from Spain. Xavier also played at the Guitar Fest Buenos Aires in 2009. There, he shared the stage with eleven other guitarists from Colombia, Korea, and Argentina.

Playing with Big Bands

Xavier was the guitarist and producer for the rock/pop band AVe Cesar from 2003 to 2008. With this band, he played at major festivals like Cosquin Rock and Tucuman Rock Festival. They shared the stage with famous bands such as Bersuit, Los Piojos, Luis Alberto Spinetta, León Gieco, and Carajo. He also performed in the Northwest of Argentina with La Renga in three cities. Later, he opened for the British band Motörhead in Córdoba.

In March 2006, Xavier celebrated his 100th performance. He was part of a huge music celebration called SAGM with Marcos DeRos and Pablo Soler. The celebration ended with Xavier and many other musicians playing "Rockin' in the Free World" together.

Orchestra and International Shows

In September 2009, the University of Tucuman Symphony Orchestra invited him to play in their "Concierto Pop de Primavera." They performed music from movies. There were four shows at Teatro Alberdi and one in Concepción. In November 2009, he participated in "Adagio," a lyric and musical show with the Symphony Orchestra's baritone. He performed songs like The Phantom of the Opera and a tango version of "Roxanne" from the movie Moulin Rouge.

In December 2009, he played with the metal band "Seliger" in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They opened the show for "ANGRA" from Brazil. In October 2010, Xavier and Seliger performed with Sonata Arctica from Finland in Buenos Aires. They also played in Rosario, Argentina, and Montevideo, Uruguay. South American Tours

In 2012, Xavier went on a South America Guitar Tour. He visited Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. He played with Bluecifer from Chile in Lima, Peru. They opened the show for the famous Swedish band "Europe." In 2013, he played in La Paz, Bolivia; Iquique, Chile; and Mendoza and Tucuman, Argentina.

In 2014, he recorded the album "Versions" with "Cossas Novas" in Chile. This album featured classic songs in Bossa, Fusion, and Latin-Rock styles. They toured South America, visiting cities in Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina. In 2015, they toured the Pacific Coasts, playing shows in Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. In 2016, he played in Ecuador, Colombia, and other countries. In 2017, he toured Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. In 2018, he played in Argentina, Bolivia, and Chile with different bands.

In 2019, he performed at the "8° International Guitar Festival" in Sucre, Bolivia. He played alongside guitarists from Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, and Japan. He was also invited to play with the Sucre Big Band at their first official show. He participated in the FIC 2019 (International Culture Festival) as an artist and teacher. He also played at the International Jazz Festival from Tucumán. That year, he toured over 10 cities in 4 countries, sharing a message of unity through music and art.

In 2020, he was part of the "Live From Home" streaming shows. Artists from 20 countries performed in this international event. He also participated in the Musical September 2020 at the San Martin Theater in Tucumán. In December 2020, he organized the "Mega Guitar Festival," bringing together 36 guitarists from 17 countries to share a message of unity.

In 2021, with "Rock Bro's," a South American band where he is the guitarist, musical director, and producer, they released a video of a live show featuring classic rock hits. This video was recorded in Tucumán, Argentina, and produced in Argentina and the United States.

As of 2024, it has been 25 years since Xavier started playing the guitar. He is celebrating this milestone by recording a tribute album to Charly Garcia. This album features guest artists playing hits from Charly Garcia's career.

Tours Around the World

Xavier has traveled with his music to over a hundred cities in ten countries. These countries include Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

His tours began in 2000. Some of his most important shows were at the "Cosquin Rock" Festival in Córdoba in 2004. He also opened a show for the legendary band "Motörhead" in Córdoba. Later, as a solo artist, he performed many shows in the Northwest of Argentina.

Early Solo Tours

In 2007, Xavier Moyano's Rock Instrumental Show went to Bolivia. He performed many concerts and gave guitar clinics in cities like Cochabamba, La Paz, and Tarija. He finished that tour in Tartagal and Salta, Argentina.

In 2008, he toured again, playing live and giving guitar clinics in various countries and cities. In Argentina, he visited Tucuman, Salta, Cafayate, Santiago del Estero, Jujuy, Buenos Aires, La Plata, and Formosa. In Paraguay, he played in Asunción. In Bolivia, he visited La Paz, Cochabamba, Sucre, Potosí, Santa Cruz, Oruro, and Tarija.

Tours with Seliger and Solo

In December 2009, Moyano debuted with the band Seliger from Buenos Aires. They performed at El Teatro Flores with Angra from Brazil. The singer of Shaman, Thiago Bianchi, and guest Elodia Agostini from Italy also joined them.

In 2010, Moyano played in many cities in Argentina, including Tucuman, Formosa, Chaco, Lules, Tartagal, Catamarca, Salta, La Plata, Santa Fé, and Buenos Aires. He also toured Bolivia extensively, playing in cities like Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, Sucre, La Paz, and Copacabana. Xavier also performed with Seliger in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a solo artist, he traveled to Peru to play in Puno and Cusco. He ended that year with a performance in his hometown of Tucuman, Argentina.

In 2011, he had presentations in Tucuman, San Pedro, and Monteros. He also played in Campo Quijano and Salta. In June, he went on a South American tour, visiting Chile (Antofagasta and Iquique), Bolivia (Cochabamba, Oruro, and La Paz), and Peru (Puno and Arequipa), before returning to Argentina. This year, his music was also used in Spain for the video series "We Are Family," produced by Boston Enjoy Productions in Barcelona.

Cossas Novas Tours

Between December 2013 and June 2014, he recorded the album "Cossas Novas" in Iquique, Chile. In 2014, they toured South America, visiting different cities in Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina. In 2015, "Cossas Novas" went on a South American Pacific Coasts Tour, performing live shows in Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. In 2016, they played in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, and Colombia. In 2017, they had shows and workshops in Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. In 2018, they continued with shows and workshops about guitars, music, improvisation, music fusion, and cultural management in Argentina, Bolivia, and Chile.

In 2019, he toured more than 10 cities in 4 countries with shows and workshops. He continued to share a message of unity through music and art.
