2015 Copa América facts for kids
The 2015 Copa América was a big football competition. It was organized by Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (CONMEBOL). The tournament took place in Chile in 2015. Twelve teams from different countries played in the event. Chile won their first ever title! They beat Argentina in the final match. Knockout Stage

The Final Match
The final game was played on July 4, 2015, in Santiago. It was between the host nation, Chile, and Argentina. The game was very close and ended in a 0-0 tie, even after extra time. This meant the winner would be decided by a penalty shootout. Chile won the shootout 4-1, making them champions of the Copa América for the first time in their history!
