The Anguilla National Football Team is the official football team for Anguilla. Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory located in the Caribbean. The team is managed by the Anguilla Football Association.
Anguilla's team is part of the Caribbean Football Union, which is a group within CONCACAF. CONCACAF oversees football in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The team has never made it to the FIFA World Cup or the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Anguilla's Football Journey: World Cup Qualifiers
First Steps: 2002 World Cup Qualifiers
Anguilla first tried to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 2002. This World Cup was held in South Korea and Japan.
In their first match, Anguilla played against the Bahamas. They lost the first game 3–1 at home in The Valley. In the second game, played in Nassau, Anguilla lost 2–1. This meant they were out of the competition with a total score of 5–2.
Trying Again: 2006 and 2010 World Cup Qualifiers
For the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, Anguilla played against the Dominican Republic. The first game was a 0–0 draw. However, Anguilla had to play their "home" game in the Dominican Republic too. They lost that game 6–0 and were eliminated.
In the qualifiers for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Anguilla faced El Salvador. They lost the first game 12–0 in San Salvador. For their "home" game, Anguilla played in Washington, D.C. in the United States. They lost that match 4–0, making the total score 16–0.
More Attempts: 2014, 2018, and 2022 World Cup Qualifiers
For the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Anguilla played the Dominican Republic again. They lost both games, 2–0 and 4–0, with a total score of 6–0.
In the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Anguilla played against Nicaragua. They lost the first game 5–0 and the second game 3–0 at home. Nicaragua won 8–0 overall.
For the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Anguilla was in a group with several other teams. They played against the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Dominica, and Panama. Anguilla lost all four matches. They ended the first round with no points and no goals scored.
A Big Step Forward: 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
For the first time ever, Anguilla made it past the first round of World Cup qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They beat the Turks and Caicos Islands after a penalty shootout, with a total score of 1–1.
In the second round, Anguilla is in a group with Suriname, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Anguilla has played 18 World Cup qualifying matches. They have not won any games, but they have had 3 draws and 15 losses. They have scored 3 goals and had 77 goals scored against them.
