Barbora's Playing Style
Barbora Krejčíková is an exciting player to watch. She plays aggressively, meaning she tries to hit the ball hard and win points quickly. She has a strong serve and powerful groundstrokes (shots hit after the ball bounces). She is also very good at the net, which is common for players who excel in doubles.
Her two-handed backhand is especially strong. She can hit the ball with amazing angles and win points from anywhere on the court. She also uses a "slice" shot with her backhand to change the speed of the game. Her forehand is also powerful, often pushing opponents far back.
Barbora is great at surprising her opponents with a "drop shot," which is a soft shot that lands just over the net. If her opponent manages to reach it, she can quickly finish the point with a strong volley or a perfectly placed lob.
Even though she plays aggressively, Barbora moves very well around the court. She has great speed and stamina, which helps her defend against tough shots. She can also turn defense into attack very quickly. Her first serve is fast, reaching about 177 km/h (110 mph). This helps her control the point from the very start.
Barbora is a dangerous opponent on all tennis surfaces. However, she plays especially well on clay courts. The higher bounce and slower speed of the clay allow her to use her playing style perfectly.

Barbora Krejčíková has deals with several companies. Since 2022, she has been sponsored by Fila for her tennis clothes, shoes, and other gear. She uses Head racquets. She is also sponsored by Roko-Motor, which is the Czech part of Jaguar Land Rover.
