Decode Entertainment facts for kids

Decode Entertainment was a Canadian production company, a distribution company and based in Toronto, Ontario. It was founded by Steven DeNure, Neil Court and John Delmage in 1997. On May 16, 2006, Decode and Halifax Film announced that they would merge the holding company DHX Media. Decode became a subsidiary company of DHX Media. The company was closed in the 2010s.

In that same year, DHX Media ceased production on producing content at the "Ex-Decode" offices. DHX acquired Epitome Pictures in 2014, then they assumed the name of DHX Studios Toronto in 2016, but this company had no relation outside name.
