What the Show is About
Droopy, Master Detective is a funny take on detective movies and police shows. It stars Droopy and his son, Dripple. They work as detectives in a busy city.
Each half-hour episode had new seven-minute cartoons. These included adventures with Droopy and Dripple. It also featured new cartoons with characters from Tom and Jerry Kids. Another character, Screwball Squirrel, also had his own stories.
In these cartoons, Screwball Squirrel lives in a park. He often causes trouble for the park attendant, Dweeble, and his dog, Rumpley. The show also brought back Wild Mouse and Lightning Bolt the Super Squirrel. These characters were from the earlier Tom & Jerry Kids show.
