Justice League is an exciting superhero movie from 2017. It was directed by Zack Snyder. The film is all about the famous DC Comics superhero team called the Justice League. It's the fifth movie in the DC Extended Universe, which is a series of films featuring DC Comics characters. The story was written by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon.

The Story of Justice League

Years ago, a powerful villain named Steppenwolf tried to take over Earth. He used his army of Parademons and special objects called Mother Boxes. But a strong army of Amazons, Atlanteans, and humans stopped him. They forced Steppenwolf away and hid the Mother Boxes in different places.

A New Threat to Earth

In the present day, the world is sad because Superman has died. Steppenwolf senses this sadness and returns to Earth. He wants to find the Mother Boxes again. He starts by kidnapping people from S.T.A.R. Labs, where one Mother Box is kept.

Bruce Wayne (also known as Batman) sees a Parademon and realizes an invasion is coming. He decides to gather a team of special people, called metahumans, to fight this new threat.

Heroes Assemble

Steppenwolf finds the Mother Box on Themyscira, the home of the Amazons. Queen Hippolyta warns her daughter, Diana Prince. Diana joins Batman and tells him more about Steppenwolf and the Mother Boxes.

Batman and Wonder Woman try to get Arthur Curry and Victor Stone to join, but they say no at first. However, they do convince Barry Allen to join the team. Victor Stone later joins after his father is kidnapped. Steppenwolf then attacks Atlantis to get the second Mother Box.

Fighting Back

The team gets a tip from Commissioner James Gordon. They learn that Steppenwolf's army is hiding in an old building underground. The heroes go there and rescue the kidnapped people. During the fight, the building floods, trapping the team. But Aquaman saves them, finally deciding to join the group.

Victor Stone gets the last Mother Box from S.T.A.R. Labs. Batman then suggests using the Mother Box to bring Superman back to life. He believes Superman can help them win and give humanity hope again. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are not sure about this idea.

Superman's Return

The team digs up Clark Kent's body and places it in a Kryptonian ship. Flash uses his speed to create a huge energy blast to activate the Mother Box. Superman comes back to life, but he doesn't remember much. He accidentally attacks the team.

Just as Superman is about to hurt Batman, Lois Lane arrives. Seeing Lois calms Superman down. He leaves with her to his family home to try and get his memories back. With the last Mother Box unguarded, Steppenwolf easily takes it.

The Final Battle

Without Superman, the five heroes travel to a village in Russia. Steppenwolf plans to put the Mother Boxes together there. If he succeeds, he will change Earth for his nephew, Darkseid.

The team fights through many Parademons to reach Steppenwolf. They try to stop him, but they can't distract him enough for Cyborg to separate the boxes. Then, Superman arrives! He helps Flash evacuate the city and helps Cyborg separate the Mother Boxes. The united heroes defeat Steppenwolf. Filled with fear, Steppenwolf is attacked by his own Parademons and taken away through a Boom Tube.

After the Battle

After the fight, Batman decides to rebuild his home, Wayne Manor, as a base for the team. He and Wonder Woman agree that more heroes might join them. Wonder Woman starts helping people more openly. Flash gets a job with the police in Central City. Cyborg continues to learn about his powers with his father. Aquaman goes back to Atlantis. Clark Kent returns to his job as a reporter and continues to be Superman.

In a scene during the credits, Flash and Superman have a fun race. In a scene after the credits, Lex Luthor escapes from prison. He meets a bounty hunter named Slade Wilson to form their own team.
