List of lemon dishes and drinks facts for kids

Lemons are bright yellow fruits that grow on small evergreen trees. These trees first came from Asia. Lemons are famous for their sour taste and fresh smell. People around the world use lemons in many ways, especially in cooking and making drinks. We mostly use their juice, but the soft inside part (pulp) and the outer skin (called zest) are also great for adding flavor to food.
