Madrean Sky Islands

- These mountains are in both Pima County and Pinal County.
- Santa Rita Mountains (9,453 feet)
- These mountains are in both Santa Cruz County and Pima County.
- Tortolita Mountains (4,652 feet)
- These mountains are in the Madrean Sky Island region. They are also on the border of the Sonoran Desert ranges.
- Minor ranges in this area include the Cerro Colorado Mountains and the San Luis Mountains. These are on the western edge of the Madrean region.
