Mark Elliott Andrews (born September 12, 1968) is an American filmmaker, animator, and storyboard artist. He is famous for directing the 2012 Pixar movie Brave with Brenda Chapman. He also helped create the story for The Incredibles. Mark directed the short film One Man Band and helped write Jack-Jack Attack.
Mark studied animation at CalArts. He was one of a few students chosen for an internship at Disney. Unlike many others from CalArts, he loved Japanese animation like Kimba the White Lion and Speed Racer.
His daughter, Maeve Andrews, voiced the character Jack-Jack Parr in The Incredibles. Mark took over as director for Brave. He and Brenda Chapman both won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for the movie in 2013.
After leaving Pixar in 2018, Mark Andrews worked on other projects. He was the director and executive producer for the Netflix animated series Super Giant Robot Brothers, which came out in 2022.
