Nickelodeon Records was a music company that used to release songs and albums for the children's TV channel Nickelodeon. It was also known as Nick Records from 2001 to 2010. This company was part of Paramount Global.
Nickelodeon Records helped new and young music artists share their talent. Many of these artists were "triple threats" – meaning they could sing, act, and dance on Nickelodeon shows. A famous example is singer Ariana Grande. The label also released music albums based on popular Nickelodeon TV shows.
Nickelodeon first started releasing music in 1993. The name "Nick Records" began in 2001 when Nickelodeon teamed up with Jive Records. Later, they worked with other music companies like Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) and Sony Music. In October 2022, Republic Records made a new deal with Nickelodeon for music. This meant that the separate Nickelodeon Records label was no longer used for new releases.

How Nickelodeon Manages Its Music
Nickelodeon has a special team called Music by Nickelodeon Inc. This team is part of Paramount Global. Their job is to manage all the music Nickelodeon uses, including songs from its original TV shows and those released by Nick Records.
This division works with music organizations like BMI. Nickelodeon also has two other groups for its music: Tunes by Nickelodeon Inc. (which works with ASCAP) and Nickelodeon Notes Inc. (which works with SESAC). These groups help make sure artists and creators get paid for their music.
