Noida is known for being one of the cleanest cities in India. It has a lot of modern buildings and facilities. Much of Noida's land isn't great for farming, as it's in the flood plains of the Yamuna and Hindon rivers. In the past, villages here would flood often.
Noida is also famous for its tall buildings, ranking second in India after Mumbai. A new flyover, the Parthala Flyover, has improved traffic flow in the city.
The NOIDA Authority has a lot of money from rent and other charges, which helps them develop and maintain the city. A very tall skyscraper called "Supernova Spira" is being built in Noida. Noida Botanical Garden
Noida's botanical garden was started in 2002 to become a home for special and endangered plants from all over India. It covers 160 acres and has about 7,500 plants. The garden has a seed bank where seeds of more than 250 plant types are kept safe. There's even a map of India made entirely from plants!
Scientists at the Botanical Garden are working to save plants that are rare or have disappeared. You can find unique plants like the skeleton fork fern, which is a very old type of plant.
The garden is divided into 10 sections. The "medicinal plants" section has 96 different plants, grouped by which part of the human body they help. For example, there are plants for digestion, blood circulation, and skin problems.
The garden also has a large fruit section with many types of mango, pomegranate, lemon, and other fruits. The woodland section has impressive trees like sandalwood and teak. There's also a beautiful lotus pond with five different colored water lilies.
