The World Croquet Federation (WCF) is the main organization for the sport of croquet around the world. Its main goal is to help different types of croquet, like Golf Croquet and Association Croquet, become popular and well-known sports everywhere.

The WCF works to encourage, promote, and grow croquet at all levels, from beginners to experts. It also organizes many croquet tournaments for individual players and national teams. The WCF keeps track of world rankings for players and countries. It also makes sure the rules for Association Croquet and Golf Croquet are fair and up-to-date.

The WCF was first started in 1986 by members of the English Croquet Association. They wanted to create a World Championship for croquet. The first big meeting was held in July 1989, at the same time as the first World Championship. Countries like Australia, England, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, and the USA were among the first full members.
