The World Croquet Federation (WCF) is the main group that runs the sport of croquet around the world. Its main goal is to help croquet become a popular and respected sport in many countries. To do this, the WCF helps grow both Golf Croquet and Association Croquet everywhere.

The WCF organizes many croquet tournaments for individual players and national teams. It also keeps track of world rankings for players and countries. Plus, it makes the rules for Association Croquet and Golf Croquet. The WCF started in 1986. Its first big meeting was in July 1989, at the first World Championship. Countries like Australia, England, and the USA were among the first full members.
