Battles and Wars
Hussite Wars: Battle of Horic
On April 27, a big battle happened during the Hussite Wars. This war was fought in Bohemia (today's Czech Republic). The Taborites, a group of Hussite fighters, won a major victory. They defeated the Utraquists, another Hussite group. This battle showed the strength of the Taborite army.
Hundred Years' War: Battle of Cravant
The Hundred Years' War continued to rage between England and France. On July 31, a French army faced a defeat. This happened at Cravant, a town near the Yonne river. The battle was a setback for the French forces.
English-Burgundian Victory at Verneuil
On August 23, a strong alliance won another important battle. English and Burgundian soldiers fought together. They defeated the French army, which had help from the Scots. This battle took place at Verneuil.
