Cheez TV was a super popular Australian TV show for kids. It showed lots of awesome cartoons every weekday morning on Network Ten. The main hosts were Ryan Lappin and Jade Gatt. The show started on July 17, 1995. Ryan and Jade left the show at the end of 2004. The show officially finished on August 20, 2005, and a new show called Toasted TV took its place.

Years later, in January 2016, Ryan and Jade started an official Cheez TV Facebook page! They did this with their friend Brendan Dando. On this page, you can find old episodes, cool behind-the-scenes photos, and even enter competitions. It's a great way for fans to remember the show.

Guess what? Cheez TV was also super modern! It was the very first TV show in Australia to have its own internet address back in 1995.

What Was Cheez TV Like?

The two hosts, Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin, made the show really fun. They would talk about the cartoons and present short, funny segments in between. These short parts often made fun of other TV shows like Rove Live or Gardening Australia. They even re-enacted famous music videos! Sometimes, the hosts would interview special guests too. For a while, on a special Saturday morning version of the show called The Big Cheez, Jade and Ryan were joined by another host, Lenka Kripac. She was also a member of an Australian band called Decoder Ring.

Cheez TV also had a special version on Saturday mornings called The Big Cheez. This was a longer show with even more cartoons and fun segments. Did you know that Cheez TV was the first TV show outside of Japan to show the last four episodes of the Zoids: Chaotic Century cartoon in English? That's pretty cool!
