About LASU's Campuses

LASU has three main campuses. The biggest one is in Ojo, which is along the Badagry Expressway. The other campuses are in Epe and Ikeja.

The Epe campus is where you'll find the engineering and agriculture programs. The Ikeja campus is home to the College of Medicine, located at the LASUTH.

A new theatre hall is being built at the Ojo campus. It will be a large space for lectures and events, with offices too.

LASU first started with three main study areas: Business, Law, and Medicine. Over time, many more areas were added, like Arts, Education, Engineering, Science, and Communication.

The Epe Campus

The Epe campus is on the north side of the Lekki Lagoon. This campus is special because students can live there. It was created when the Ojo campus became too crowded. The land for the Epe campus used to be military barracks.

The Epe campus has a modern library that opened in 2008. It has space for 400 people to read and a special e-library section with free Wi-Fi for 100 people. The library helps students and staff with their learning and research.

Many engineering departments are based at the Epe campus. These include Mechanical, Electronics and Computer, Chemical, Aeronautical and Astronautical, Civil, and Industrial and System Engineering. The Epe campus also offers advanced (postgraduate) programs in some engineering fields.

To make sure students always have power, the Epe campus has its own generators. This means they don't rely on the public power supply for hostels, classrooms, and staff homes.
