Power Rangers Dino Fury and its third season Power Rangers Cosmic Fury are exciting American TV shows for kids. They are the 28th, 29th, and 30th parts of the famous Power Rangers series.

Dino Fury first aired on Nickelodeon before moving to Netflix. It follows a team of Power Rangers: Zayto, Amelia Jones, Ollie Akana, Izzy Garcia, Javi Garcia, and Aiyon. They protect Earth from an alien warrior named Void Knight. He wants to collect special creatures called Sporix to bring his love, Santaura, back to life.

Cosmic Fury continues their adventures. The Rangers get new powers to fight an old enemy, Lord Zedd, and a big space company called Squid Ink Inc.

Meet the Power Rangers

The Dino Fury Rangers are based in Dinohenge, a secret place in a forest near Pine Ridge city. They use cool Chromafury Sabers and special Dino Fury Keys to transform and get extra powers. In Cosmic Fury, they get even stronger with Cosmic Orbs.

Zayto

Zayto is an alien knight from a planet called Rafkon. He can read minds by touching things. Long ago, he came to Earth with other knights and dinosaurs. They became the first Dino Fury Rangers, and Zayto was the Red Ranger. Most of his team was lost, and he got separated from his friend Aiyon.

Zayto slept for 65 million years to protect the Sporix they had captured. When he woke up, he accidentally let the Sporix loose! Now, Zayto leads a new team of Dino Fury Rangers. He wants to stop evil forces from destroying Earth, just like they did to his home planet. He also tries to learn about Earth's culture.

Later, Zayto bravely sacrifices himself to defeat a giant monster. But the Morphin Masters bring him back to life! He temporarily becomes the Dino Fury Ghost Ranger, then the Cosmic Fury Zenith Ranger. In Cosmic Fury, Zayto helps his team fight Lord Zedd. He eventually gives up his Ranger powers to save Ollie and becomes a Morphin Master himself.

Zayto is played by Russell Curry.

Amelia Jones

Amelia Jones loves all things paranormal. She works as a journalist for BuzzBlast, an internet news company. She convinced her boss to let her report on Dinohenge. There, she becomes the new Pink Ranger and stops Void Knight from getting the Sporix.

In the second season, Amelia and Ollie start dating. She also finds out she's an alien from Rafkon, and the daughter of Tarrick and Santaura! She helps her dad break free from mind control and convinces her mom to stop seeking revenge. Six months later, they are a happy family, and Amelia is expecting a baby sister named Poppy.

In Cosmic Fury, Amelia becomes the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger. She takes Zayto's place as the team leader.

Amelia Jones is played by Hunter Deno.

Ollie Akana

Oliver "Ollie" Akana is a smart and confident guy who loves science. He believes everything can be explained logically. He traveled the world with his mom, Dr. Lani Akana, who is an archaeologist. They came to Pine Ridge to study the mysterious Dinohenge.

Ollie becomes friends with Amelia. They follow Void Knight into the caves under Dinohenge, and Ollie becomes the new Blue Ranger. He helps stop Void Knight from getting the Sporix. At first, he and Amelia argue a lot because of their different beliefs, but they start dating in season two.

During Cosmic Fury, Lord Zedd brainwashes Ollie. He becomes the Dino Fury Evil Blue Ranger! But his friends save him and he gets new powers as the Cosmic Fury Blue Ranger.

Ollie Akana is played by Kai Moya.

Izzy Garcia

Isabella "Izzy" Garcia is a very competitive and kind athlete. She is Javi's step-sister. Izzy becomes the new Green Ranger after helping the first three Rangers protect a special orb. She later starts a relationship with her former sports rival, Fern.

Izzy Garcia is played by Tessa Rao.

Javi Garcia

Javier "Javi" Garcia is a creative musician and Izzy's step-brother. He can be quiet, focusing on his music. He loves music but can't pick just one style or instrument. Izzy is his biggest supporter. His dad, Carlos, doesn't always approve of his musical interests. Javi becomes the new Black Ranger after helping the first three Rangers.

In Cosmic Fury, Javi loses an arm while helping his friends get new Zords. But don't worry, Billy Cranston gives him a cool robotic arm!

Javi Garcia is played by Chance Perez.

Aiyon

Aiyon is a fun-loving knight from Rafkon. He was part of the original Dino Fury Ranger team with Zayto, and everyone thought he was gone. Aiyon doesn't always follow the rules, but he always fights for what's right. He tried to stop the Sporix from being created because he knew they were dangerous.

He and Zayto came to Earth to stop the Sporix and became Dino Fury Rangers. Aiyon became the Gold Ranger. They got separated when Aiyon was stuck in a stasis pod in the sea. The Ninja Nexus Prism finds his pod, and Aiyon reunites with Zayto to fight Void Knight.

Aiyon is played by Jordon Fite.

Fern

Fern is Izzy Garcia's sports rival, and later, her girlfriend. In Cosmic Fury, Fern accidentally gets involved in the Rangers' adventures. She then gets her own Ranger powers from Solon, becoming the Orange Cosmic Fury Ranger!

Fern is played by Jacqueline Joe.

Billy Cranston

Billy Cranston is one of the original Power Rangers! He was the Blue Ranger from the Mighty Morphin team. He is a super smart scientist and helps the Cosmic Fury Rangers with his inventions and knowledge.

Important People and Villains

Morphin' Masters

The Morphin' Masters are six very old and powerful beings. They watch over and give power to different Power Ranger teams, like the Dino Fury Rangers. When the Dino Fury Rangers lose their powers, the Green Morphin Master helps them get them back to fight Lord Zedd. Even though her friends don't want to interfere too much, she helps.

The Green Morphin Master sacrifices herself to capture Zedd. But then the Red and Blue Morphin Masters free her and take Zedd away. Zedd later escapes.

The Morphin Masters are voiced by Daryl Habraken, Kevin Keys, and Beth Allen.

Dr. Lani Akana

Dr. Lani Akana is an archaeologist who travels the world. She moved to Pine Ridge with her son, Ollie, to study Dinohenge. For a long time, she didn't know Ollie was a Power Ranger. But when Void Knight kidnaps her, Ollie accidentally reveals his and his friends' secret identities while saving her.

Dr. Lani Akana is played by Shavaughn Ruakere.

Warden Carlos Garcia

Warden Carlos Garcia is the strict park warden of Pine Ridge Park. He is Javi's father, Izzy's step-father, and Rina's husband.

Warden Carlos Garcia is played by Blair Strang.

Tarrick (Void Knight / Void King)

Tarrick is a mysterious warrior from Rafkon, and he is Amelia Jones' father. He came to Earth with his wife, Santaura, to find things to help their planet. But scientists captured them and experimented on them. After an accident, Santaura fell into a coma. Tarrick thought Amelia was lost too.

To save Santaura, Tarrick became Void Knight and started looking for Sporix. He built a machine to use the Sporix to revive Santaura. He fought the Rangers many times. He eventually brings Santaura back, but her plans are different from his. He tries to get her to leave Earth, but she refuses.

Tarrick then helps the Rangers fight a monster. But Santaura kidnaps him and turns him into the monstrous Void King, brainwashing him to serve her. He helps Santaura try to destroy Pine Ridge. Luckily, Amelia frees him, and he helps teleport the monster's cocoon away. After Amelia helps Santaura, the family is reunited.

In Cosmic Fury, Tarrick helps the Cosmic Fury Rangers fight Lord Zedd. He forms a resistance group with other Rafkonians and even gets Heckyl to spy on Zedd.

Tarrick is played by Jared Turner.

Mucus

Mucus is a mushroom-themed Sporix Beast. She can put her body back together after being destroyed and turn into slime. She works for Tarrick. Unlike other Sporix Beasts, she can't grow giant. After the Rangers defeat Santaura, Mucus is freed. Six months later, she and Slyther hide and take human forms. They even run a circus! They later help the Cosmic Fury Rangers fight Lord Zedd.

Mucus is voiced by Torum Heng, who also plays her human form.

Boomtower

Boomtower is a robot warrior created by Tarrick to help him collect Sporix. He tries to destroy the Rangers many times but fails. He gets destroyed, but a necromancer named Reaghoul brings him back twice!

Later, a new version of him, called Boomblaster, is built to help Lord Zedd. Boomblaster helps Zedd try to steal a Sporix generator but is destroyed by Aiyon.

Boomtower and Boomblaster are both voiced by Mark Mitchinson.

Santaura (Void Queen)

Santaura is Tarrick's wife and Amelia Jones' mother. She was captured and experimented on, which put her in a coma. When Tarrick finally revives her, she has her own plans. She takes a Sporix and turns into the monstrous Void Queen. She wants revenge on humanity for what happened to her and for seemingly taking her daughter.

She takes over Tarrick's forces and brainwashes him into Void King. She collects all the Sporix to create a giant monster called the Nemesis Beast. But a freed Tarrick teleports the monster away. Zayto sacrifices the Rangers' Zords to weaken it. Amelia convinces Santaura to stop, and she destroys the Nemesis Beast and turns back to normal. Six months later, Santaura, Tarrick, and Amelia are a happy family, expecting another daughter.

Santaura is played by Siobhan Marshall.

Slyther

Slyther is a robot illusionist created by Mucus. He helps Tarrick, but later loses his Sporix. He tries to attack Amelia but is stopped by the Rangers. Six months later, he and Mucus take human forms and run a circus together. They also help the Cosmic Fury Rangers fight Lord Zedd.

Slyther is voiced by Campbell Cooley, who also plays his "Mr. Wiz" disguise. Sara Wiseman plays his "Arla" disguise.

Solon

Solon is a Solonosaurus dinosaur and a good friend of Zayto. She got cybernetic parts after being badly hurt fighting the Sporix Beasts.

Solon is voiced by Josephine Davison.

Ed Jones

Edward "Ed" Jones is a handyman in Pine Ridge and Amelia Jones' guardian. Amelia calls him "Pop-Pop." In season two, we learn that Ed met Tarrick and Santaura when he worked at Area 62. They asked him to take care of baby Amelia.

Ed Jones is played by Greg Johnson.

Lord Zedd

Lord Zedd is a famous alien villain who fought the original Power Rangers. He was purified by Zordon's energy wave, but a necromancer named Reaghoul brings him back in Dino Fury. Reaghoul puts a collar on Zedd to control him. Zedd tries to get Sporix and fights Void Knight. Ollie destroys Zedd's collar, and Zedd gets angry and attacks Reaghoul.

Zedd gathers new allies and his staff. He teams up with Void Queen and King to get to Rafkon, steal a Sporix generator, and conquer Earth. But Aiyon and the Green Morphin Master defeat him. The Green Morphin Master sacrifices herself to destroy the Sporix generator and trap Zedd. He later escapes.

In Cosmic Fury, Zedd joins forces with Squid Ink Inc. to conquer the universe. He wants to steal the Morphin Masters' powers to become Master Zedd. But Squid Ink Inc. betrays him. Zayto convinces Zedd to give up his extra power. Zedd is then trapped on a planet called Nibyro with a fake version of Rita.

Lord Zedd is voiced by Andrew Laing in Dino Fury and Fred Tatasciore in Cosmic Fury.

Bajilla Naire

Bajilla Naire is a mean, greedy, and crazy alien who looks like a cephalopod. She is the CEO of Squid Ink Inc., a huge space company that makes weapons and profits from wars. She frees Lord Zedd and teams up with him to conquer Earth, planning to mine its resources and enslave its people. She later betrays Zedd, trying to use his power to destroy all heroes in the universe. But the Cosmic Fury Rangers defeat her.

Bajilla Naire is voiced by Amanda Billing.

Sporix Beasts

The Sporix Beasts are alien monsters that look like mythical creatures. The Rafkonians created them to protect themselves, but the Sporix turned evil and terrorized Rafkon. They came to Earth and were captured by the original Dino Fury Rangers 65 million years ago. Zayto accidentally releases them in the present day.

When a Sporix Beast hatches from its egg-like Sporix, it can grow giant if not defeated quickly. If defeated, they turn back into their Sporix form, but with more power! Both Tarrick and the Rangers try to collect them.
