Power Rangers Beast Morphers is an exciting American children's television series that aired on Nickelodeon. It's the 2019 installment in the popular Power Rangers story. This show continues the adventures from Power Rangers RPM. The story follows five young heroes: Devon Daniels, Ravi Shaw, Zoey Reeves, Nate Silva, and Steel. They are chosen by a secret organization called Grid Battleforce. Their mission is to protect the Morphin Grid from a dangerous computer virus named Evox.

Meet the Heroes: Power Rangers Beast Morphers

The Beast Morpher Power Rangers Team

The Beast Morpher Rangers are a special team. Grid Battleforce created their powers by mixing Morph-X energy with animal DNA. Originally, Blaze and Roxy were supposed to be the Red and Yellow Rangers. But Evox messed up the process. He infected their bodies and created evil clones. These clones became his loyal helpers. The real Blaze and Roxy fell into a coma. Devon and Zoey accidentally took their places. However, Evox's corruption slightly affected their Morph-X. This gave them unique weaknesses. The Rangers transform using special Beast-X Morphers. They also use Morph-X Keys. Each Ranger has a Beast-X Blaster and a Beast-X Saber. These can combine to make the Beast-X Cannon. In the second season, Nate invented Beast-X Visors. These let Devon, Ravi, and Zoey combine with their Beast Bot friends. This gives them a powerful Beast-X Mode. It makes their animal powers even stronger.

Devon Daniels: Red Ranger Leader

Devon Daniels is the brave leader of the Beast Morpher Rangers. He is also the son of Mayor Adam Daniels. Devon wasn't originally chosen to be the Red Ranger. He wasn't part of Grid Battleforce. But he snuck in and saw Evox's first attack. Because of this, he became the Red Ranger. After defeating Evox, Devon became the new leader of Grid Battleforce. Commander Shaw was promoted, and Devon took her place.

As the Red Beast Morpher Ranger, Devon has cheetah DNA. This lets him move super fast. But because of Evox's corruption, Devon has a weakness. He freezes instantly if he sees or hears anything about dogs. In season one, Devon briefly got a new form called Red Fury Mode. This made him super strong. However, it used special Fury Cells that slowly corrupted him. So, he had to give it up.

Devon Daniels is played by Rorrie D. Travis.

Ravi Shaw: Blue Ranger Strongman

Ravi Shaw is a cadet at Grid Battleforce. He is also Commander Shaw's son. Ravi was the only original candidate who wasn't affected by Evox's first attack. He used to date Roxy. But he broke up with her to focus on being a Ranger. Later, he felt bad when Roxy's evil clone put her in a coma. He eventually helped bring her back. Then, they fixed their relationship.

As the Blue Beast Morpher Ranger, Ravi has gorilla DNA. This gives him amazing superhuman strength. But Evox's corruption causes a problem. If Ravi uses too much power, he overheats and gets very angry. He might even attack his friends.

Ravi Shaw is played by Jasmeet "Jazz" Baduwalia.

Zoey Reeves: Yellow Ranger Jumper

Zoey Reeves used to work in the laundry at Grid Battleforce. She became the Yellow Ranger after Roxy fell into a coma. Zoey is always positive and finds creative ways to solve problems.

As the Yellow Beast Morpher Ranger, Zoey has jackrabbit DNA. This gives her powerful jumping and kicking abilities. Her weakness from Evox's corruption is exhaustion. She gets tired over time and needs to eat carrots to get her energy back.

Zoey Reeves is played by Jacqueline Scislowski.

Nate Silva: Gold Ranger Genius

Nate Silva is a child genius. He is the chief researcher and head of technology at Grid Battleforce. Nate created Morph-X as a clean energy source. He also developed the Rangers' powers and weapons. Nate is a quick thinker. For example, he gave Devon, Ravi, and Zoey their powers to protect the Morphin Grid. He also accidentally created Evox. He was experimenting with Morph-X, snake DNA, and a special morpher. This morpher was infected with the Venjix virus.

Evox's evil clones kidnapped Nate. They forced him to build a robot body for Evox. But Nate secretly changed the plan. He fused himself with mantis DNA. This allowed him to use martial arts. He became the Gold Beast Morpher Ranger. After this, he officially joined the other Rangers in battles.

Nate Silva is played by Abraham Rodriguez.

Steel: Silver Ranger Android

Steel is a special android. He looks like a stag beetle or scarab beetle. Nate built him when he was forced to create a body for Evox. But Nate secretly changed the plan. He accidentally fused the robot body with scarab beetle DNA and his own human DNA. This made "Steel" the Silver Ranger. He also became like a "brother" to Nate. During the final battle with Evox, Steel bravely sacrificed himself. He stopped Evox for good. But the Morphin Grid later brought him back as a human. After the virus was defeated, he became an actor.

As the Silver Beast Morpher Ranger, Steel has scarab DNA. This gives him amazing stamina.

Steel is voiced by Jamie Linehan. As a human, he is played by Sam Jellie.

Zords: Giant Robot Buddies

The Zords are giant vehicles. The Rangers pilot them to fight huge enemies. They can change into animal forms. They can also combine to form even bigger robots called Megazords.

• Racer Zord - Devon's Zord. It can be a car, a cheetah, or a humanoid battle robot. Devon can use the Cheetah Beast Blaster while piloting it.
• Wheeler Zord - Ravi's Zord. It can be a truck or a gorilla.
• Chopper Zord - Zoey's Zord. It can be a helicopter or a jackrabbit.
• Wrecker Zord - Nate's Zord. It can be a crane truck, a mantis, or a humanoid battle robot.
• Jet Zord - Steel's Zord. It can be a jet or a scarab beetle.
• Beast-X King Zord - Devon gets this extra Zord in season two. It can be a motorcycle, a lion, or a humanoid battle robot.

Megazords: Super Combinations

• Beast-X Megazord: This is made when the Racer, Wheeler, and Chopper Zords combine.

Other Important Characters

Mayor Daniels: Devon's Dad

Adam Daniels is Devon's father. He is the mayor of Coral Harbor. He is strict but responsible. At first, he didn't like Grid Battleforce using Morph-X. But then he learned about the Beast Morpher Rangers. He found out his son was the Red Ranger. When Evox's forces captured Devon, Mayor Daniels bravely went into the Cyber Dimension to save him. But he didn't know that Evox secretly took over his body. The Rangers later found out what happened. With help from Doctor K, they successfully separated Mayor Daniels from the virus.

Adam Daniels is played by Kevin Copeland.

Muriel Reeves: Zoey's Mom

Muriel Reeves is Zoey's mother. She works as a reporter for News Channel 10. She later learned that her daughter was the Yellow Beast Morpher Ranger. Commander Shaw allowed Zoey to tell her.

Muriel Reeves is played by Sia Trokenheim.

Grid Battleforce: The Secret Team

Grid Battleforce is a secret organization. They were created to use Morph-X energy. Their main goal is to stop enemies from controlling the Morphin Grid.

Commander Shaw: Ravi's Mom and Leader

Commander Shaw is the leader of Grid Battleforce. She is also Ravi's mother. After Evox was defeated, Commander Shaw was promoted to general. She then chose Devon to take her place as commander.

Commander Shaw is played by Teuila Blakely.

Beast Bots: Ranger Companions

The Beast Bots are the robot partners of the Beast Morpher Rangers. Each one is designed like their Ranger's animal. When they combine with the Rangers' Zords, the Beast Bots help create a Beast Mode. Their heads also become control devices. In season two, Nate created the Beast-X Visor. This can turn the Beast Bots into armor for their Ranger partners' Beast-X Modes.

• Cruise (voiced by Kelson Henderson) - Devon's cheetah-like partner. He sometimes forgets things. Cruise can also turn into Devon's personal motorcycle.
• Smash (voiced by Charlie McDermott) - Ravi's gorilla-like partner. He loves giving hugs.
• Jax (voiced by Emmett Skilton impersonating Danny DeVito & Derek Stephen Prince) - Zoey's jackrabbit-like partner. He doesn't like being called "cute" or "little."

Betty and Ben Burke: Helpful Siblings

Betty Burke and Ben Burke are siblings who are cadets at Grid Battleforce. Betty is older and more sensible. Ben is eager but sometimes clumsy. They mean well, but their clumsiness can cause problems. Betty works as a receptionist, and Ben is a security guard. They also help the Rangers in fights. A year after Evox was defeated, they captured Scrozzle with help from Colonel Mason Truman.

Betty and Ben are played by Kristina Ho and Cosme Flores.

General Burke is played by Mark Wright.

Blaze: The Original Red Ranger Candidate

Blaze is a karate instructor. He was supposed to be the Red Ranger. He became rivals with Devon after Devon beat him. When he was becoming the Red Ranger, Evox corrupted the process. This put Blaze in a coma. Evox created an evil clone of Blaze. This clone continued the rivalry with Devon. When his clone was destroyed, Blaze woke up from his coma. He made up with Devon, and they became good friends. He went back to his karate job. After Evox was defeated, Blaze became a stunt double for Steel.

Blaze is played by Colby Strong.

Roxy: The Original Yellow Ranger Candidate

Roxy was the original Yellow Ranger candidate. She was Ravi's girlfriend. Before the show started, they were dating. But Ravi broke up with her to focus on Ranger duties. When she was becoming the Yellow Ranger, Evox corrupted the process. This put Roxy in a coma. Evox created an evil clone of her.

When her clone was destroyed, Roxy woke up from her coma. She helped the Rangers stop one of Evox's plans. She used knowledge from her evil clone. Roxy and Ravi got back together. She then joined her Aunt Regina at Collins Industries.

Roxy is played by Liana Ramirez.

General Burke: Betty and Ben's Dad

General Burke is a member of Grid Battleforce. He is the father of Betty and Ben. He acts tough, but he cares about his children. He can also have funny, childish moments. In season two, he secretly started a project. He created the Beast-X King Zord. This Zord would help protect the world. He also hired Megan again to help program the Zord.

Other Grid Battleforce Members

• Megan: A Zord technician at Grid Battleforce. She tried to steal Nate's job unfairly. She even tried to blackmail Zoey and sabotage Nate's experiments. When her tricks were discovered, Commander Shaw fired her. Later, Megan joined General Burke's secret project. She helped create the Beast-X King Zord. She designed and programmed it herself. She hoped to make up for her past mistakes. When Evox's minions corrupted the Zord, Megan helped the Rangers get it back. After that, she was welcomed back to Grid Battleforce. Megan is played by Madeleine Adams.

Evox: The Main Villain Virus

Evox is a smart computer virus from another dimension. He was originally called Venjix. After being defeated by his creator, Doctor K, and the RPM Rangers, Venjix secretly downloaded himself. He went into the Red RPM Ranger's Cell Shift morpher. This brought him to a new dimension. Nate found the morpher. When Nate mixed Morph-X and snake DNA with it, Venjix used its codes to escape. He took the name Evox. He looked like a king cobra. When Grid Battleforce built Morph-X towers, Evox tried to take over the Morphin Grid. He wanted to stop other Rangers from ever stopping him again. He created evil avatar clones of Blaze and Roxy. He put the real ones in comas. He also corrupted the Beast Morpher Rangers' animal DNA. But he and his Avatars were sent to the Cyber Dimension. There, they teamed up with Scrozzle. They wanted to get enough Morph-X to send Evox back to Coral Harbor.

After stealing a Morph-X Tower, Scrozzle built a robot body for Evox. Evox used it to overpower the Rangers. But the Rangers destroyed the tower during his teleportation attempt. What they didn't know was that Evox possessed Mayor Daniels. This happened after the Mayor bravely went into the Cyber Dimension to save his son.

Since then, Evox secretly worked to collect Morph-X again. He continued his plans. He tried to trick the Rangers while controlling Mayor Daniels. Despite his efforts, the Rangers eventually found out his secret. They separated him from the Mayor. This forced Evox to change his plans. After failing to build a Chimera Zord, Evox allowed himself to be captured. He wanted to get the morpher he hid inside Grid Battleforce. He downloaded his original codes from it. This restored him to full power without Morph-X. He could also rebuild destroyed Robotrons. After telling the Rangers his history, Evox started his main plan. He took over the Morph-X tower system. He fused himself with a stolen tower. This created a new giant robot form for him. But the Rangers corrupted his main code. They used Morph-X infused human DNA. This destroyed him forever.

In season two, Scrozzle used the Dino Charge Rangers' Energems and a geode. He created a dinosaur-themed Chimera Zord for Evox. But the original, Dino Thunder, and Dino Charge Rangers' Megazords destroyed it.

Evox/Venjix is voiced by Andrew Laing (using the name Randall Ewing).

Cybervillain Blaze: Evil Clone

Cybervillain Blaze is the evil Crimson Ranger. He is a hard-light holographic clone of the human Blaze. When Blaze was becoming the Red Beast Morpher Ranger, Evox corrupted the process. This put Blaze in a coma. Evox created an evil clone to serve him. Cybervillain Blaze continued the rivalry with Devon. He was angry after being embarrassed at the Riptide Gym. After many schemes, he and Cybervillain Roxy stole a Morph-X Tower. Scrozzle used it to build Evox a robot body. He planned to send Evox back to Coral Harbor. The Rangers stormed the Cyber Dimension to destroy the tower. Blaze piloted a Megazord Scrozzle built to stop them. But Devon defeated him in the Racer Zord. Because the clone was destroyed, the real Blaze woke up from his coma.

Cybervillain Blaze is played by Colby Strong.

Cybervillain Roxy: Evil Clone

Cybervillain Roxy is the evil Yellow Ranger. She is a hard-light holographic clone of the human Roxy. When Roxy was becoming the Yellow Beast Morpher Ranger, Evox corrupted the process. This put her in a coma. Evox created an evil clone to serve him. Roxy's human self used to date Ravi. The clone used this to make Ravi weaker. Evox planned to teleport a Morph-X Tower to the Cyber Dimension. Cybervillain Roxy fought the Blue Ranger. This allowed Cybervillain Blaze to steal three mega transporters for the plan. Ravi destroyed her morpher. He then destroyed Cybervillain Roxy. This allowed the real Roxy to wake up from her coma.

Cybervillain Roxy is played by Liana Ramirez.

Scrozzle: The Robot Gadgeteer

Scrozzle is a robot. He became the unofficial ruler of the Cyber Dimension. He fled there to hide from Vargoyle. When Evox and the Cybervillains arrived, Scrozzle reluctantly teamed up with them. He lent them his skills with gadgets. He also provided his Tronics, Robotrons, and Gigadrones. He didn't like working with the Cybervillains. He thought they were useless. But he worked with them to betray Vargoyle. The Cybervillains successfully stole a Morph-X Tower. Scrozzle started building a robot body for Evox. He prepared to teleport him back to the real world. But the Rangers stormed the Cyber Dimension. They stopped his plan. Scrozzle escaped with his Robotron-Maker. Scrozzle tried to get revenge on the Rangers. But Steel and the Beast Bots stopped him.

Between seasons, Scrozzle took over the Crystal Dimension. It became Evox's new base. To get more villains, Scrozzle captured the human Blaze and Roxy. He collected their DNA samples. He combined it with backup data from the fallen Cybervillains. He also used spare robot parts. This created robot versions of them. He programmed the Robot Maker to rebuild their bodies if they were destroyed. But Robo-Roxy accidentally overloaded the Robot Maker while upgrading herself. It was destroyed beyond repair. After the Rangers' final battle with Evox, Scrozzle hid in Evox's home dimension. One year later, Colonel Mason Truman, Betty, and Ben found him. He was then put in Grid Battleforce's holding cells.

Scrozzle is voiced by Campbell Cooley.

Vargoyle: The Laser Gun Robot

Vargoyle is a laser gun-themed robot. Scrozzle built him. He used several Fury Cells on himself. This made him more evil than his creator. He turned on Scrozzle. Scrozzle had to hide in the Cyber Dimension. Vargoyle eventually found him. He took the remaining Fury Cells. He defeated the Cybervillains. Evox then recruited Vargoyle. He offered a reward if Vargoyle proved himself against the Rangers. Vargoyle succeeded. He got an upgrade that was meant for the Cybervillains. The Cybervillains put aside their differences to get revenge on him. Vargoyle continued to impress Evox. He easily defeated the Rangers in a second fight. He also built a weapon from a blueprint he stole from the Cybervillains. This was for Evox's main plan. He created Shockatron and Shockadrone to distract the Rangers. Vargoyle used his Memory Pulsator. It changed the memories of people in Coral Harbor. This allowed the Cybervillains to steal three mega-transporters. The Rangers failed to stop them. But Devon destroyed Vargoyle after his allies betrayed him. Months later, Ryjack used his reanimizer to bring Vargoyle back. He gave him a special collar to control him. After a successful raid on a Morph-X tower, Vargoyle fought the Rangers again. But Devon and Captain Chaku destroyed him.

Robo-Blaze: Robot Clone

Robo-Blaze is a robot clone. Scrozzle created him. He used Cybervillain Blaze's backup data, spare robot parts, and the real Blaze's DNA. He can turn into an amber-colored robot form in battle. He can also pilot rebuilt versions of his Cybervillain counterpart's Megazord. If he and Robo-Roxy are destroyed, the Robot Maker machine can recreate them. To stay useful to Evox, Robo-Blaze upgraded himself with a lot of Morph-X. This gave him super strength and speed. After Robo-Roxy accidentally damaged the Robot Maker, Nate was able to destroy Robo-Blaze permanently.

Robo-Blaze is played by Colby Strong.

Robo-Roxy: Robot Clone

Robo-Roxy is a robot clone. Scrozzle created her. He used Cybervillain Roxy's backup data, spare robot parts, and the real Roxy's DNA. She can turn into a violet-colored robot form in battle. If she and Robo-Blaze are destroyed, the Robot Maker machine can recreate them. To stay useful to Evox, Robo-Roxy upgraded herself with flower DNA. This gave her a pollen cannon on her left arm. After Robo-Blaze upgraded himself, Robo-Roxy upgraded herself even more. She used dinosaur DNA. This gave her a reptilian clawed right hand. It could fire energy blasts. But this accidentally overloaded the Robot Maker, destroying it. While fighting the Rangers in her new form, she used the full power of the dinosaur DNA to grow giant. But the Beast-X King Ultrazord destroyed her permanently.

Robo-Roxy is played by Liana Ramirez.

Tronics: Foot Soldiers

The Tronics are robot foot soldiers. They have blasters on their hands that can also be used as melee weapons. Scrozzle created them to protect himself from Vargoyle. Evox later used them as his main foot soldiers.

Robotrons: Virus Monsters

The Robotrons are robot monsters. They are created from everyday items infected with a virus from Evox. They have unique powers based on what they were made from.

• Cycletron (voiced by Barry Duffield) - Made from bicycle tires. He is super strong and fast. He can shoot lasers.
• Needletron (voiced by Rowan Bettjeman) - Made from a syringe or medical equipment. He can fire needle blasts and energy blasts.
• Shoveltron (voiced by Andre King) - Made from an excavator. He has a shovel arm and can shoot lasers.
• Slicertron (voiced by David Van Horn) - Made from a pizza cutter or circular saw. He has a saw arm and can throw saw blades.
• Meltatron (voiced by Ashton Brown) - Made from a fire extinguisher or acid tank. He can shoot acidic mist.
• Railtron (voiced by Jeremy Birchall) - Made from a train. He can absorb data and shoot train tracks.
• Vacuutron (voiced by Cosme Flores) - Made from a vacuum cleaner. He can drain Morph-X.
• Antennatron (voiced by Julian Wilson) - Made from an antenna or satellite dish. He can mess with communication systems.

Gigadrones: Giant Robot Monsters

The Gigadrones are giant robot monsters. They are sent to help the Robotrons. They also steal Morph-X for Evox. When a Robotron is created, Scrozzle can use its data. He converts a Gigadrone and sends it to the human world. Scrozzle has different types of Gigadrones. The Alpha Model is fast. The Beta Model is strong. The Gamma Model is well-balanced. The Delta Model is a parasite that can hide inside other Gigadrones.

Special Guest Heroes and Villains

• Doctor K: A brilliant scientist. She created Venjix. She is an ally of the RPM Rangers from another reality. She helps the Beast Morpher Rangers separate Mayor Daniels from Evox. She also helps Nate regain his confidence. Doctor K is played by Olivia Tennet, who played her in Power Rangers RPM.
• Ryjack (voiced by Kevin Keys): A rhinoceros-like alien criminal and bounty hunter. He joins Evox after running from Captain Chaku. He can grow giant. He is destroyed by the Beast-X Ultrazord. Scrozzle takes his reanimizer device.
  • Vivix: Paramecium-themed foot soldiers. Ryjack brings them back to fight the Rangers.
  • Putty Patrollers: Clay golem-themed foot soldiers. Ryjack brings them back to fight the Rangers.
  • Triptoids: Amoeba-themed foot soldiers. Ryjack brings them back to fight the Rangers.
• Captain Chaku (played by Manu Reynaud, voiced by Jack Buchanan): An alien cyborg. He is part of the G5 Galaxy Police Force. He comes to Earth to hunt Ryjack. He can transform into an armored form. He has a personal Zord called the Reptillobeast. It can be a spaceship or a Chinese dragon. After his mission, Chaku retires. Nate helps him remove his cybernetic parts. He goes home to his daughter, Starlight.
• Keeper (voiced by Richard Simpson): A dinosaur-like alien. He is the mentor of the Dino Charge Rangers. Evox captures him. He is forced to create the Chimera Zord for Evox.
• Sledge's Crew: A group of villains who fought the Dino Charge Rangers. Evox brings them back using Ryjack's Reanimizer.
  • Sledge (voiced by Adam Gardiner): An alien bounty hunter. He is the main enemy of the Dino Charge Rangers. He agrees to serve Evox if his crew is revived.
  • Poisandra (voiced by Jackie Clarke): A heart-shaped monster. She is Sledge's fiancée.
  • Fury (voiced by Paul Harrop): Sledge's lion/Oni-themed second-in-command.
  • Wrench (voiced by Estevez Gillespie): Sledge's wind-up toy-themed technician.
  • Curio (voiced by Estevez Gillespie): Poisandra's rag doll/scarecrow-themed friend.
• Snide (voiced by Campbell Cooley): An evil ammonite-themed personality of Heckyl's. Evox revives him.
• Goldar Maximus (voiced by Paul Harrop, Adrian Smith): A manticore-themed monster. He is a new version of the original Goldar. Evox revives him.
