Meet the Movies
Open Season (2006)
This is where it all began! Boog (Martin Lawrence) is a huge grizzly bear. He lives a comfy life in a town called Timberline. One day, he meets Elliot (Ashton Kutcher), a skinny mule deer with only one antler. They get into some trouble and end up stuck in the wild. It's hunting season, so they must work with other animals to outsmart the hunters. In the end, Boog decides to stay in the forest. He says goodbye to his owner, Ranger Beth (Debra Messing).
Open Season 2 (2008)
In this movie, Elliot (Joel McHale) falls in love with Giselle (Jane Krakowski). But then, their friend Mr. Weenie (Cody Cameron) gets taken! A group of spoiled house pets kidnaps him. They want to return him to his human owners. Elliot and Boog (Mike Epps) lead a rescue mission. Giselle, McSquizzy (Billy Connolly), Buddy (Maddie Taylor), and Serge (Danny Mann) and Deni (Maddie Taylor) join them. They go on a long journey to save Mr. Weenie. The house pets, led by a fancy poodle named Fifi (Crispin Glover), try to stop them. In the end, Mr. Weenie chooses to go back to his human family.
Open Season 3 (2010)
Boog (Matthew J. Munn) feels a bit lonely in this film. His best friend Elliot (Maddie Taylor) is busy with his own family now. Boog wants to find new friends. He stumbles upon a traveling circus from Russia. There, he meets a talented female bear named Ursa (Melissa Sturm). He also meets a clever bear named Doug (Matthew J. Munn), who looks just like him! Boog and Doug switch places. Doug gets to escape into the wild. When Elliot and the other animals realize Boog is missing, they team up. They make a plan to bring Boog back home. In the end, Ursa decides to live with Boog and his friends in the forest.
Open Season: Scared Silly (2015)
A mysterious creature is spotted in the forest. People mistake it for a werewolf! This makes the former hunter Shaw (Trevor Devall) reopen hunting season. The animals of Timberline National Forest are in danger. Boog (Donny Lucas), Elliot (Will Townsend), and Mr. Weenie (Will Townsend) decide to solve the mystery. They want to find out what the creature really is. Their goal is to get hunting season closed again.
