14 AD was a year in the 1st century, which means it happened a very long time ago! It was a common year starting on Monday in the Julian calendar, which was the calendar used by the Romans. Back then, people often named years after the important leaders who were in charge. So, 14 AD was known as the Year of the Consulship of Pompeius and Appuleius.
