- March 6 – A battle took place near a town called Avranches in France. It was called the Battle of St. James. An English army, led by a powerful leader named John, Duke of Bedford, fought against the French army. The French were led by Arthur de Richemont. The English won this battle. Because of this victory, the Duke of Brittany (a region in France) had to agree that England had power over his land. This is called recognizing "English suzerainty," meaning England was the main power.
- June 16 – The Hussite Wars were a series of conflicts in what is now the Czech Republic. In 1426, a major battle happened at Usti nad Labem.
