The Cape Town Stadium is a large sports stadium located in Cape Town, South Africa. It was first built in 1987 and was known as the FNB Stadium back then. Today, it's a famous place for many exciting events.
Hosting the FIFA World Cup
The Cape Town Stadium was chosen as one of the ten stadiums to host games for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. During the World Cup, FIFA called this stadium Green Point Stadium. Many exciting football matches were played here.
