Atia Chade Boggs (born in 1987), known by her stage name INK, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and music producer. She has helped create songs and albums for many famous artists. These include Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Monica, Kendrick Lamar, and Beyoncé.

Starting in Music

Atia Boggs taught herself how to play the guitar. She began performing in and around the Buckhead area of Atlanta. She did this without knowing anyone already in the music business.

She was inspired by the album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. This made her want to focus on writing songs and officially join the music industry. In the late 2000s, she found a mentor named James Fauntleroy through Facebook. He helped guide her early career.
