The 67th Annual Grammy Awards celebrated the best music and artists from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024. Members of the Recording Academy chose the winners. The main ceremony took place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It was shown on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Before the main show, a special premiere ceremony was held at the Peacock Theater. The nominations were announced online on November 8, 2024. The popular South African comedian Trevor Noah hosted the main event for the fifth time in a row.
Kendrick Lamar had a fantastic night, winning all five awards he was nominated for with his song "Not Like Us." This included major awards like Record of the Year and Song of the Year. He became only the second rap artist to win both of these top awards. Beyoncé received the most nominations, with eleven in total. She won three awards, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. This made her the first Black artist to win Best Country Album and the first Black woman to win Album of the Year since Lauryn Hill in 1999. Chappell Roan was named Best New Artist. Sierra Ferrell won all four of her nominations in the American roots music categories. Doechii won Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, becoming one of only three women to win this award. Other artists who won three awards included Charli XCX and St. Vincent.

Behind the Scenes at the Grammys
For the 2025 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy made some updates to how awards are given out and who can be nominated. No new award categories were added this year. The head of the Recording Academy, Harvey Mason Jr., encouraged all members to vote carefully and fairly.
There were some concerns about the ceremony happening because of wildfires in Southern California. However, the Grammys decided to go ahead as planned. They worked closely with local authorities to make sure everyone was safe. This year's event also focused on helping with wildfire relief. They wanted to honor the brave first responders who helped protect people and homes.
During the TV broadcast, some commercial time was given to help small businesses affected by the fires. Host Trevor Noah shared this idea, and famous guests appeared in the commercials. Some of the businesses featured included a flower shop, a martial arts studio, and a skate shop in areas impacted by the fires. Stars like Doja Cat, Charlie Puth, Anderson .Paak, Avril Lavigne, and the Jonas Brothers helped promote them.
Also, high school choir students from schools damaged by the wildfires sang backup vocals. They joined Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock for a special performance of "We Are the World."
