What Was the Irish House of Commons?
The Irish House of Commons was a bit like today's parliament or congress. It was a group of elected people who made laws and discussed important issues for Ireland. Back then, Ireland was a separate kingdom, but it was connected to Great Britain.
Who Could Be a Member?
To be an MP in the Irish House of Commons, you had to be a man and own a certain amount of property. Most of the people who became MPs were wealthy landowners or important figures in Irish society. They represented different areas, called "constituencies."
What Did the Members Do?
The MPs would meet to debate and vote on laws. They also discussed how money was spent and other important matters for the country. Being an MP was a very important job, as it gave them a say in how Ireland was governed.

Each entry tells you the person's name, the area they represented (their constituency), and sometimes a note about their time in office.
